Salsa

MATERIALS

  • 2 large Roma tomatoes, chopped

  • 1 white onion, roughly chopped

  • 2 jalapenos, seeds removed

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes

  • 1/3 cup cilantro

  • juice from one lime

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp red pepper flakes, to taste

  • 1 tbsp cumin

  • 2 tsp salt

PROCEDURE

1. Throw everything in a blender and blend.

2. Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.

THE RUNDOWN

Way better than the store-bought stuff.  This recipe makes about 3 16 ounce mason jars full.  It is probably good for about a week stored in the fridge so you may want to make half of the recipe if you don't go through a lot of salsa.
